Fernandina Beach lies on Amelia Island, Florida and is home to more than 10,000 of it’s residents. Situated on the Atlantic Ocean side of Florida, it is the northernmost island before reaching the border with Georgia. Separated by the St. Mary’s River, and the intracoastal waterway, the island is a showcase of Victorian-era homes and is steeped in history, having been under the rule of eight separate nations, and at one time, pirates.
Tourists find clean beaches, quaint shops downtown and picturesque landmarks at every turn.
